i think my waxlet is asleep.

at the icing the other day i saw these little charm bracelets with one charm like this icon of brc and twirlygrrl's:



and i almost bought it before i remembered that i'm allergic to the baser metals. ::pout:: but, the little heart. and the clasp was cute. it was... it was cuteSY. for which i am in the mood.

tonight is the chili/chowder baking contest/bribe the judges at church: i'm going to go because mom is making me my favorite soup. the base recipe is a vegetariana cheddar garlic soup, and we've modified it in an attempt to get it to taste like the college's cheesy tomato basil. what with the cheese, garlic, basil and tomato (and since the best way to eat it is on slabs of warm bread), i suggested we call it 'pizza chowder' (since you have to enter it in one category or the other).

waxlet, not even you do i adore enough to persuade me to give up garlic.

Oh my god. That 'pizza chowder'? Sounds really, really wonderful. Must try to make that sometime. Guh.
