I have a friend who is a very good fan artist. Her work runs to elaborate pencils of naked men humping like bunnies, but she's good at it, so she's allowed. The only time I've ever seen her totally blow a piece was an attempt at F/V, in which poor Ray was very thin and very wiry, with a very very very large domelike head.

She admitted that it even frightened her.
