finished a chair! i almost have enough money for a passport. however, i've also got to mail a package, so i suppose i'll not get a checking account until after i have finished another chair. mom offered me $75 for it, which is frankly about half what it's worth, but i'm not sure i can talk her into paying any more, and of course, it will be nice to have all the chairs we're currently using done. the chipped mint julep look is just not good for the kitchen.

blockbuster has one copy of each volume of the collected qaf, which meant i had to get the first one on vhs or wait. plus side: saw dvd of the wrath of khan. with interviews and director's cut! would write twok fic just to have fun with that brilliant suede jacket. unfortunately, i don't want to touch the ending with a ten-foot pole. of the movie, that is.

my family has this disease that causes them to go to the mall when they don't have any money. really, it's not fun at ALL.

chinese takeout, while not exactly fun, is at least tasty.
