there's a smear of paint on the bottom of my right foot and a great deal of black pen on the back of my left hand. and i spent a satisfying, productive morning after being woken by the dog fiddling with the sewing machine and some scraps of singularly uncomfortable navy and green plaid cotton. most of it i have thrown away, but i have something that might be a swimsuit coverup out of it.

and my mom took my car instead of hers to the oriental market so i'll have to take the dog to the park in hers, which is small, hot, and damp, smells of mildew and has no cd player.
