i have to say, though, (goddamn moments of existential crisis!) that even when you 'understand' someone you can't really say they're not a mystery.

um, yeah, she's a lesbian. met her - my college a cappella group was singing on the streets of provincetown and she wandered by and heard us and liked us and had us come open for her show that night. she's a funny lady. mmhmm.
