the parental units are making the move from apartment back to their newly-refurbished homestead--the floors have been poured even, two ramps and a power lift installed (it's about four feet above the ground on all sides), handicapped-accessible bathrooms and a low sink and food preparation surface.  home for christmas thanksgiving christmas!  he actually got the tickets for the 19th through the 30th, i think, which is longer than i wanted.  i ACTUALLY hoped to go at thanksgiving so i could spend christmas with wax and her family, but at least i'll finally make it in time for the mece's fabled new year's eve shindig.

unfortunately the only way to do that is to have the whole thing cost twice as much because of having to buy two separate tickets.
