broomstick skirt has been hand-washed in the sink and hung to dry in the tub late last night.

ew. that was gross.

>.<

moving right along. dean at 10:15 and work at 11:00. yay. my head feels slightly fuzzy and my throat slightly sore. maybe a shower will wake me up.

and i need to propose a schedule for study abroad and i still can't figure out how the credits transfer...

..and i can't remember my dream. hmf.

oh my god. wax images of nsync, in a museum somewhere. just...

augh. i'm going to take a shower now. wake me up when it's sunday.

my underwear is sorta watermelon today. my hair, otoh. hah! one hour till the dean's. i think i have time to sit here in my underwear and dry off a bit. and take my medicine.

and if any spam-strategy masterminds happen to be reading my journal, i'd just like them to know that the new spam strategies really are not clever. no. it is not clever to list the sender as a strange person and put in the subject line some random name (stefan, never be in debt again! rachel, the thingies we were talking about)! emails don't go astray. they don't get mis-delivered. besides which, when you OPEN the email and it's a giant html color ad, you might twig to that something's wrong. i'm just saying.

...no, i'm actually not. DIE, SPAMMERS, DIE A THOUSAND FIERY DEATHS.

thank you. now that's really all.

no. freckles are nice. it's too bad that i don't personally have any. since they call 'freckles' 'blemishes' at least in shakira's dialect, that line could be about freckles, or about pimples, or moles, or about non-physical blemishes too.

U.S. credit hours
Finnish universities do not use the same credit hour system as U.S. universities do. In Finland student's progress towards a degree is measured in credits defined as the equivalent of 40 hours of work on the part of the student. One credit consists of the actual hours spent in class as well as homework: reading and papers written at home. A U.S. "3-hour course" would correspond to 1.5 credits in Finland.

so i have to have four of those 1.5 courses in finland credits, and ignore the ects crap. yay. okay. that means... 6 finnish credits is an amherst schedule. ::breathes again::

look what [livejournal.com profile] nemoricultrix found for me.

ahahahahahahahaha.

it's britney!

sock-puppets are much cooler when you just run into them randomly than when you friend a bunch of them and stuff. i'm tellin' y'all, my way or the highway.

and i've made valley transporter reservations for sunday afternoon. mh, i'll be able to sleep late, how lovely. and i can do my schedule proposal when i get home this afternoon. by 'home' i mean... here. ::giggle::

okay.

book examination on english linguistics (which is 2) and approaches to contemporary narrative (which is 5) together with some survival language courses should be about right. apparently 2ov is 4ects and 5ov is 10ects, blah blah. the survival courses seem to be, like, one credit. so. we'll see, eh.

being beaten up by a dean can take a lot out of you.

::stares blankly::

maybe now is when i should study japanese.

it's like... 40,000 now. total, that is.

muahhahahaha. the angst!

we are brilliant. and we turn up our noses at canon, without ever quite disagreeing overtly. cause that would be a bit lacking in class, you know.

also, my mom is pretty adorable. always in retrospect, if not always at the time. would probably have been more useful to talk to dad... but you take what you can get.

raise your hand if you've ever forgotten you had a savings account?

damn. i'm the only one?

well. hm. it's good news, though. i think the half-cost of the ticket to finland might be coaxed out of it, oh yes.

i'm not squealing because that's all out of my system hours ago. even then i was more dazed than squealing, i suppose.

p.s.: to the mousefuckers across the hall: either shut up or have sex. turn off the tv, bastards. thank you. xoxo cim
