it's hard to know whether to blame the idioscynracies of my mood on medication or not. if i take it ten hours late, is that sufficient to explain a tremendous melt-down? maybe. but then, the fact that my mom is home to provoke me could do just as well. the storm has passed, at least for the moment, though. and wondering's going to get nowhere. i'm quite calm about these things when i don't have to explain myself to others.

just overheard mom--a ramp needs two feet of length to lift a wheelchair two inches. we're talking shifting all the floors in the house, practically, to make them level with each other (hey, it's a 110-year old wooden farmhouse).

i ate too much rice pilaf; my stomach is painfully distended. and i'm thirsty, but i don't know if i can stand to drink any more with my stomach so full.
