speaking of this song, read a legolas/gimli fic called 'total eclipse' set to it a few days ago--okay, well, i didn't READ it, because when i saw that the first two paragraphs were just the italicized lyrics of the first two verses of this song, i got massive cognitive dissonance, as tolkien and cheesy 80s dance music don't mesh well in my brain. i mean, the fuck? in WHOSE brain DO they mesh?

dragoncon report with lots of cool pictures (mainly other people's costumes)

inside find, with the report: jack sparrow, galadriel, lara croft, the Alien, mcgonagall, some storm troopers, a small dragon and a large hairdo, and she-ra. among other things. 16 pictures in all.

saturday we spent in the marriott, where there was the dealer's room, the art show, and the exhibition hall. ( outside the art show i saw the best costume in terms of gnnnuhx.x... )

no more blood for rps

+bought for $5 nimoy's i am spock. a taste of the real nimoy was the final ingredient in nimoy/shatner fic, and i'm already getting more bunnies. maybe more soon.
