entirely too into this au go by daegaer though only halfway through, a loud porcelain thump made me tense so hard i jumped up off the chair.

i need to listen carefully to the rest of pink's album. i think there was something else that could apply. 'oh my god,' for instance. 'walk away' (omgwtf, she has one called that too elfiepike! holy fucking mother of fuck. eek.)

and i thought of something else. was listening to mix cd in car. 'as cool as i am,' by dar williams. i think it gave me insight to pink's pov on this whole thing. she really WAS trying to be cool, like, for herself, for christina. there really WAS faking, and trying too hard. which could help christina's sort of wrong idea. wasn't it christina's 'walk away' which first likened a destructive lover to a drug? (pink's 'walk away' is a washout, sadly, but this 'save my life' might have potential.) and oh my god can read as a creepily croony cast over that bitter, angry sex we were talking about. 'cause we're pink inside.' ^.^ and the lyrics of tonight's the night seem sort of empowered and walking-away, but i can sense a bit of confused and desolate. 'got these hotass boots but ain't got nothing to do.' and then oh my god, try too hard is like the far less angry clone of the bonus track, with all the same themes, but at the end 'people like you that make me sick' morphs to 'people like us that make me sick.' o.0 is that another important insight?
