to my recs page i have added the following (links below go to fandom pages, main link goes to updates page):

+3 due south (for a total of 78).
+10 harry potter (for a total of 113). actually not all harry/snape this time. i owe most of my sirius/remus recs to [livejournal.com profile] phineasjones actually. haven't hit the archive yet.
+2 lord of the rings rps (for a total of 43).
+2 pirates of the caribbean (for a total of 100).
+6 star trek: the next generation (for a total of 10, but of course there are quite a few tos recs too.)
+29 star wars (for a total of 172).
+7 jeeves/wooster and 1 stargate:sg-1 in other.

...and something seems to be the matter with my monitor. the lower left corner has grayness, as if someone spray painted it in photoshop with a dark gray tool on low opacity. there are even speckles. it keeps making me blink cause i think my vision is fuzzing out.

and the new layout over there is based on this icon. the legs in the icon belong to julia of tatu, but the ones at the site are from a stocking catalog. the fonts are font in a red suit, fontdinerdotcom, and fontdinerdotcom sparkly.

slashing crowley and aziraphale seems silly. it's rather canon.

so... anyone got any recs?

i hate drabbles.

they're not only worthless, they're worthless and pervasive. they make finding real fiction like digging small white plastic toys out of a box of styrofoam peanuts.

tía maría does have things in common with kahlúa (or does the accent on u go the other way?), but it's distinctly dusty-tasting. or rather, it leaves a dusty after-smell, the ugly cousin of the aftertaste. it's not as sweet. do not mix it with milk if you're out of kahlua. no. do not.

does anyone have the hang of swallowing with your nose pinched shut?

wow, a few recs for good omens slash and you stumble into a veritable sea of it. it's like chasing a baseball over a fence and landing in one of those room-sized hip-deep ballpits.

not that i'm against those. they're great fun. would love to tackle wax in one. mmm...

where was i? oh.

haven't read a great deal (of good omens slash, that is), but have three (or was it four?) recs. torch is the best of the early lot. people, please don't forget your humor with this fandom. please. ::pained look::

p.s. can anyone confirm with definitiveness the ingredients of the white russian?

[livejournal.com profile] daegar's home is where the heart is has one of the most romantic, not sexual scenes i've read in a long while. crossover with dogma and good omens. aww. hmm. possibly it's better that it remains inexplicit, but my slashy little heart thirsts for some good making out. ::sigh::

this is losing me already and i'm maybe 1/8th through. besides the battle being unconvincing and rather prosaic, i feel, the pacing is wrong.

hmm. but i stuck it out and it got better. heh. is now amusing, in between bits of being rather too serious, i feel. it's a serious story.

and another one by someone else...:

buh?

a short quotation of lyrics is not an appropriate way to begin a story.

if i were a professor i'd deduct major points for lack of class every single time.

using poetry or prose is only marginally better.

::kicks viciously at stories::
