finland update

got mah translation from wax.  what i have is, like, a TEMPORARY residence permit, one year at a time.  i get the real thing in finland.  i guess i show them the letter in immigration or something.

i really want an mp3 player.  preferably an ipod, even though i have reservations cause i don't like apples at all, but ipods are like the sony of mp3s, natch.  i mean, thirteen hours transatlantic is really HELL and switching cds and batteries makes it a lot worse. 

my sister inherits my mostly!dead laptop.  she's so silly she'll probably try to actually USE it.

i can't download on 56K anymore--the pain is just too great.

how in the world did you get daniel radcliffe, emma watson, and rupert grint's signatures? i am a huge fan of harry potter!  these people are my idols.  seeing their signatures was like having their autographs.
