LOL, so, I was starting to get worried that the package of teas hollsh sent me wasn't here yet.

But it arrived today. It was opened by Customs. GET YOUR OWN TEA, BITCHES. They even opened the shrink wrap around the box of Pomegranate green/white, Holls. Enya alone knows what they wanted - just one sniff? The Chai is inviolate still, fortunately.

(Why couldn't they just reseal and send along the package from my parents, too? Come on! There's nothing illegal in there! It probably contains like, M&Ms and goldfish crackers!)

The Nootka people, Wikipedia informs us, are in actual fact the Nuu-chah-nulth indigenous inhabitants of the Pacific northwest Canadian coast, and the originators of the potlatch. So "Nootka" is probably somewhat politically incorrect, although it was chosen as a group handle for the several separate but related nations in 1979.

Anyway, my family's eccentricity... uh... continues. And "The Nootka people" shall be the first new household meme of 2009, to be used as the Default Attributee whenever something needs attributing. Just so y'all know.
