So much music this month! Besides the new Cobra Starship and Mandy Moore albums (this is the second country-folk album from MM, and I'm enjoying it, although I haven't listened to it enough to make a final judgement yet) and the new Paramore coming out later this month, I discovered a gem by surfing the "Neighborhood" at www.last.fm - a silly name for a page that lists users with statistically similar musical taste. A good way to get recommendations, anyway.

Said gem is a Canadian cyberpunk girl, Ayria, whose music supposedly sticks 80s glam influences into industrial/synthpop. Seems like a fair description, although my familiarity with glam is a little weak. I can definitely vouch for the electronica and industrial elements, and the mixture is very much to my taste. Also, she's as cute as a button, although it's a little funny the way she looks like "Come on Over Baby"-era Christina (right down to the platinum-black-pink streaked hair).

I've been enjoying her for the past week, and then I discovered that a couple of my favorite Korean pop singers - 채연 (Chae Yeon) and 바다 (Bada) - have new albums, too (singles on YouTube: Shake and Yes I'm in Love). I never know what to listen to first!

  1. Disclaimer: These are real people, so therefore I do not own them. :P The events in this story never happened, at least not in the way I've portrayed them.

  2. Warnings: gay sex, as in not happy gay, boy on boy action gay and swearing but really how could you not have boy on boy action without a little swearing?

  3. Dedication: I want to dedicate the rest of the story to my bff amanda because she helped me think of a way to make it so this story isnt sad.

  4. A/N: I do NOT own any of the boys. Sadly, Johnny-san does. But! I do own the plot as I racked them out of my extreeeeemely small brain {: (PS: anything in bold italic like this means it’s the character’s thoughts)

  5. [link to story:] Naturally and gently as not to startle her, he wound one hand around her small waist... sending electricity through Rina’s toes.

Would you like a sparkly sprout?

You vampiric net!

And I would have been able to write an SQL database to store details about it, too, if it wasn't for you horrible whisks!

I think it's time to punch Eric Draven.

I'm sorry, but I must prove the existence of God using your newspaper.

The dirty magazines - they inseminate me!

I'm an irksome stick, you know.

Do you mind if I stamp on you?

Bras and ferns - it's lucky they don't trace me.
