The use of ~ as punctuation comes from Japan, yes? I see it all the time in the sleeve notes of videogame/anime soundtrack albums. It never stops perplexing me.

yeah, they use it a lot! i recently started to suspect it might indicate a kind of rising-and-also-falling sing-song intonation, but sometimes in the subtitles in arashi shows it looks more like you'd use an ellipsis.

fandom-wise i am writing arashi in my spare moments and reading tenipuri (and a few other things), but mostly from recs as opposed to seeking it out. and i'm avoiding tezuryo on the basis of who wrote it so i haven't read much of it in a while.

I've sort of fallen into the habit of only reading fic from people I know and like, and most of the TezuRyo written lately has me staring at my computer screen in dismay. I want to know what they've done with the real characters, and where can I find them. D:

I've fallen into a very big Atobe kick recently, actually, only to discover that Atobe/Tezuka really is like gold-dust, good or badly written. But there was a nice Kajimoto/Wakato begun recently, and I hope the writer continues with it.

re:tezuryo, it is really said when a community reaches the point where for the majority of things posted you can tell from the summaries that it will be better for all concerned if you do not read them.

1. but i mentioned it in chat so does that mean i don't fail?

2. ohno's just snoozing and you can see the little eyebrow-wrinkle getting progressively more annoyed and then he has to resort to staring O.O which finally works XD. possibly he insisted ohno make it up to him with blowjobs, but the whole payment aspect got lost along the way because ohno didn't show the slightest sign of (a) contrition or (b) reluctance to give said blowjobs.
