Terrible shelf bracket design epitomizes the problems of modern architecture

This isn't what happened when we bought the shelves for our kitchen... instead we put them up even though they are designed so it is basically impossible to put in one of the screws. But we will NEVER buy another object that needs, apparently, an around-the-corner screwdriver again.



We also emptied a bookshelf yesterday and found this tiny notebook down the side of an apple crate full of photographs:



MIKEY WAY MAKES HIS SECRET NIGHTLY PILGRIMAGE is on the first page, and it's the only thing in the notebook. It's my drawing, but there's no signature or date, either. No clue what was behind this.

It was fun, but it's mostly just a riff on the "Fake pockets: a How To" comic. Original post seems to be gone, but you can see it here.

Hahahahaha! A right angle ratcheting driver holder was one of the first things I bought when I moved in with Travis (a drill + accessories was the first lol).

Recently I really wanted a right angle ratcheting Allen key but instead had to laboriously screw the stupid thing in 2cm at a time.

I actually looked for one at the hardware store later today but they didn't have any!
