for now, i could...

1. finish painting a chair
2. watch tv
3. attempt to read the canterbury tales and see if it puts me to sleep
4. work on kirk/spock story

which of these is most likely to calm me down and/or cheer me up? maybe i should add

5. take the dog to the park.

no, but you can't swing with a dog anyway. i forgot dad had the car so we just went for a walk.

you can! tie the dog to the swing and he can run back and forth and keep out of the way of your feet (hopefully).

I've always thought the introduction to the Canterbury Tales was very fun to read. But, ya know, dog and park will probably beat literature any day :)

i tend to write in this sort of hyper, caffeinated kind of mood, only (often) without the caffeine. it probably would calm me down if i were angry, though.
