my wax_jism's host called her this morning to tell her THEY LET HER DOMAIN SLIP. SOMEBODY STOLE HER FUCKING DOMAIN NAME. AND WE'RE TALKING WWW.WAXJISM.NET, PEOPLE, IT'S NOT LIKE AN INCREDIBLY COMMON NAME, EITHER. AUUUUUUUUUUGH DIE

i'm leaving for dragoncon in a little over four hours. YAY. and thanks to oneko_briar's brilliant idea last night, i went out after chatting with her to wal-mart and purchased some little boys' white t-shirts and some magic markers and made myself a couple of shirts. whee. pictures after the con, perhaps. if i remember.

marmalade kitteh!

when i got back from taking lillian to school marmalade stalked across the porch to me, meowing. i had the door unlocked but i sat down on the step. he twined under my legs and when i picked him up, curled up readily, purring, and demanded stridently to have his head and neck scratched. i stayed there for probably twenty minutes. he was the cutest thing EVER, with his cute little kitteh faces, kneading my knee, arching his wee back. it made me want to write a sequel to tennessee just so i could write him again. it made me think crazy things like putting him in every story i write about viggo from now on, including the current Manly Yet Gay Camping Adventure. in this story of viva_gloria's they talk outright about how bootstrap wouldn't've drowned, just been pinned to the ocean bottom, unable to move. he's probably gone insane by the time the curse is lifted, and i imagine the curse means he can't starve to death either, but it's gotta hurt. and then when it's lifted... he'd drown. so, basically: YUCK.
