Two days this weekend I was nauseated from hunger because I was too tired and weak to think of something to make, buy the ingredients, clean the kitchen, and prepare it. And then being weak from hunger I slept for like. A really long time. Which is completely ridiculous. I need to get some kind of routine in place for buying and preparing food so that I don't end up trying to subsist on slightly-stale bread and müsli all week.
Also when wallowing in a flat that looks like the aftermath of a tornado all weekend it's easy not to notice how gross it is, but when you come home from school all awake and there are like six loads of laundry distributed over the floor and furniture, every surface in the kitchen covered with dirty dishes and a mountain of unsorted recycling blocking in the recycling bins, and a week of junkmail lying by the door... WHOA. #No
